वहीं इसके बाद जब दिल्ली सल्तनत के पहले सुल्तान और लोदी वंश के शासक सिकंदर लोदी ने अपनी राजधानी को दिल्ली से आगरा शिफ्ट किया था, तब उसने इस किले की मरम्मत करवाई थी और वे बाद में इस किले में रहने लगे थे।
